Specialist Services
Aimed at those between 5 and 11 years old or studying key stage 1 / 2. Focus is led by the individual’s needs, following a creative learning approach across the entire curriculum, specialising in handwriting and art.
Interview technique
Learn how to feel empowered and develop skills that will help towards a successful interview. Balance appropriate etiquette with how to dress accordingly.
Public speaking
Develop a personal style of speaking that engages and connects with your audience. Using tone, learn how to speak with enthusiasm, knowledge and timing.
Conference calling
Refine and develop skills that will help with presentation, tone of voice, judging the appropriate moment to listen versus talking.
PA service
Ensuring your stay is seamless and worry free. Learn about current events, attractions, exhibitions as well as travel.

About
I am passionate about people and language, especially the challenges language can present, which is what led me to retrain. Initially teaching English and English as a foreign language to private clients and businesses, it has led me to tutoring children and mentoring parents. With a background in design I bring this to my tutoring providing a creative environment for clients to learn in. Please note that I hold a DBS to work with children.
Examples
Interview Technique
Task: Asked to work with an auctioneer from one of Europe’s leading auction houses to prepare them for interview. The main concern focusing on a strong foreign accent and nerves.
Outcome: Providing them with the necessary tools to refine their delivery, dictation and control their nerves. We approached this in a similar manner to a voice coach by working upon enunciation, enhancing delivery and impact with succinct, eloquent responses. I am proud to say that they were successful and offered the position.
Conference Calling (Conversational)
Task: To work purely on conversational English with a Brazilian surgeon who faced the challenges of the English language over the phone.
Outcome: Teaching them to build confidence and understanding which allowed them to take these skills on travel around Europe.
Proof reading
Task: Proof read a dissertation for a Columbian MA student and best advised on the appropriate structure.
Outcome: Research allowed an understanding of the subject to best be able to sense check, resulting in a top grade.
Business
Task: To train management and staff, working within one of London’s leading barbers, in general conversation, phone manner and etiquette.
Outcome: An increase in bookings and the opening of a new branch in Europe.
Specialist Services – Tutoring
Task: To privately tutor a prep school student who lacked confidence in their ability. Focus was predominantly on Handwriting, Reading, Spelling and Maths.
Outcome: Using experience gained from working within schools, a significant development in confidence was achieved resulting in higher grades and recognition from teachers.
